cancellation terms

the service of the community globesitters.org is generally free of charge.

all users can cancel their membership with globesitters.org at any time, without naming any reasons, and with immediate effect. the function to cancel the membership can be found within the community under the following link:

for users who have bought a premium membership at globesitters, the additional terms below are applicable:

(1) the user has the right to withdraw from the contract with globesitters.org within a period of 14 days with a written cancellation. the period starts with the acceptance of the cancellation terms.

(2) in case of an effective cancellation the benefits and advantages both parties were entitled to are to be exchanged back. if the user cannot give back the total of the benefits and advantages or not in the actual condition, he has to compensate globesitters accordingly.

(3) the right to cancel expires prior to maturity if globesitters already started its services after the user’s explicit confirmation or on the user’s own inducement (by using premium features, e.g. by using the premium search, downloading the sample contract, viewing references and ratings) prior to the end of the cancellation period.
